Notifications
How do I change which push notifications I receive?
Go to the “More” tab;
Click on “Settings”;
Go to “Notifications”;
Select which organization and community groups you want to receive a push notification for.
What do I always receive notifications of?
You always receive a notification of organizational messages that are marked as important. (In the phone settings, you can set whether you want a sound with a notification);
Messages you commented on;
Chat messages that are meant for you. You can turn this off by clicking the three dots on the top right and selecting “Disable notification”.
Changing your password
You can change your password via the following steps:
Click on the “More” tab on the bottom right;
Go to “My account”;
Scroll down and click on “Change password”.
Note: The password you choose must meet our password requirements. When entering the new password, you will be notified whether it meets those requirements.
Setting date of birth
In the app, you can enter your date of birth and determine who can see it.
Click on “More” on the bottom right;
Go to “My account”;
Click on “Date of birth”;
Set your date of birth by clicking on the calendar icon;
Select who can see your date of birth.
My privacy settings
You can set who can see your birth date and phone number in your profile settings under “General”. In addition, under “Privacy settings”, you can set who (everyone, no one, or just your community) can see when you were last active in the app. You can also set who can send you chat messages and who cannot (for example, only people within your own community). Administrators can send chat messages to anyone.
Changing community
You have been invited to a community. A community is another word for your branch or department. As an employee, you can be a member of several communities. For example, when you work at two locations. When you open the Oneteam app, you will see all the information about a community. Do you want to see information from the other community? Then you can switch to the other community by following the steps below:
Log into your account;
Click on the “More” tab on the bottom right;
Scroll down and click on “Change community”.
Select the other community.
I don't want to see all messages from organization groups on my timeline.
To make sure that you only have the most relevant messages on your timeline it's possible to unfollow organization groups. This means that you won't receive notifications and messages when placed within that group. You're not able to unfollow all organization groups, only the ones that are created manually. You will always receive a message when the message is marked as important or when you're tagged. You're able to turn off the messages/notifications on your phone as followed;
Click on "more" at the right bottom of your screen in the app;
Click on "settings";
Click on "timeline";
(De)select the groups/channels where you don't want to see messages from on your timeline.
I want to change my email address, how do I do this?
You must inform your manager of any change to your email address. You can send a chat message asking if your manager can change your email address. After the change, you can log in with your new email address.
I want to delete my account. How do I do this?
You cannot delete your account yourself. Ask your manager if they can delete your account. Oneteam cannot do this due to privacy reasons.
