Bork is a software specialized in hospitality-specific tasks: Kassa or handling orders. We have implemented their API, so users and locations can be fetched. Customers have the choice to run the Bork software on their own servers.

The Bork integration is currently unique in the fact that it can update shifts that have been exchanged on our Flexchange. Approved users are automatically assigned as new users to the shift by our API in Bork.

How does the synchronization of employees work with Oneteam?

A big part of a successful Oneteam implementation within your organization will be user management. To automate the user management, Oneteam offers a User Sync API. This application will invite your employees to the right community and function group within Oneteam. If the employee will be moved within your organization, we will also reflect those changes within Oneteam. Employees that are no longer in service, will also be automatically removed within Oneteam.

What is needed from the customer?

In order to connect to Bork, we need to receive the URL for the server that Bork is being run on. We also need an authentication token to be able to connect to that server. This token is most likely connected to a user which is allowed to list users, centers, departments, list schedules

Exceptions / User Cases

  • Users need to be on 'active' in Bork but are out of service, organization desires that they're not able to log in anymore:

You're able to give the account a fake email. Therefore they're not able to log in anymore. They will however remain to be logged in on their phone so ask the employee to log out from the app.
