In the settings in the organization dashboard, it is possible to adjust the branding of the app, the displayed language as default for all employees, and to manage shortcuts. Check out this tutorial to find out more about how the settings work:
General
Here it's possible to set the organization language, the language in which the organization dashboard and communities will be presented, and some privacy settings;
Default phone number: Set the visibility of the phone numbers on 'everyone' or on 'nobody'. Employees are able to change this for themselves as well and organization admins are always able to see the phone number if this is provided.
Default date of birth: Set the visibility of the date of birth (never show the birth year to non-admins) to 'everyone', 'community' and 'nobody'. Employees are able to change this for themselves as well and organization admins are always able to see the date of birth if this is provided.
Default allow invites: Set the possibility to allow chat invites among employees here to 'everyone', 'community' and 'nobody'. In this way, employees are able to decrease the amount of colleagues that can chat with them. Organization admins are always able to start a chat conversation with everyone. Employees are able to change this for themselves as well.
Default last activity: Determine the visibility here of the employee last activity to 'everyone', 'community' and 'nobody'. Employees are able to change this for themselves as well.
Also, you're able to deactivate or activate the QR link/code for employees to fill out an admission form for the app themselves. Click here to learn more about this.
💡using the QR code is not possible when your organization works with an integration. In that case invites are being managed through the synchronization with the HR system.
Branding
It is important to add your company logo before launching the app for employees, so that they immediately feel that they have entered the environment of their own company.
Furthermore, under the heading “Theme”, add the colors that are most often used in your organization. There you will immediately see an example below that shows what this will look like for all employees.
Shortcuts
You can add shortcuts within the Oneteam app, so employees can easily go to another app or website. Think of the website where employees view their schedule or request leave (such as PMT, Manus+, Dyflexis). This page can then be viewed without leaving the app. Because some shortcuts are not relevant to everyone, you can set per shortcut which community and/or position it should be visible to. Good to know that it is possible to arrange the shortcuts as you like.
You can manage the shortcuts through the “Organization dashboard” -> “Settings” > “Shortcuts”. These can only be managed by organization administrators.
