With the E-Learning feature in Oneteam, you quickly and easily create digital training for your employees. You not only inform them, but also test straight away whether the knowledge has stuck.
Creating an E-Learning
Follow these steps to create a new E-Learning manually:
Log in to Oneteam and go to the organisation dashboard, then click Academy in the menu on the left.
Click E-Learning and then Create course +.
Choose Manually create course. (but you can also generate a course using AI)
Give the E-Learning an image, a name and a description.
Click New and then create an content module or a quiz module.
The modules
You can find a detailed step-by-step guide for creating modules in the article 'Onboarding'.
You can choose from the following components to fill your module:
Text: to share information in your own words.
Video: your own video or a YouTube link.
Image: to make the module more visual.
PDF file: for example a handbook or house rules.
Important: make sure you switch all screens from Draft to Live. After that, also set the entire E-Learning to Live. Only then does it become visible to the audience you set.
E-Learning settings
Just like with the Onboarding, you can set Phasing, Capture feedback, Notifications and the Audience for an E-Learning. In addition, there are settings that are only available for E-Learning:
Deadline
Set when employees must have completed the learning package. As the deadline approaches, employees who have not yet completed it receive a reminder.
For the deadline you have two options:
Based on a specific date and time by which the learning package must be completed.
Based on the date an employee joined the organisation, plus the number of days within which the learning package must be completed.
Repetition
Make a learning package return automatically. Some knowledge and skills need to be refreshed regularly. With a repeating learning package, employees automatically redo a learning package once they have completed it for the first time. You decide the interval yourself, usually 365 days. This is ideal for annual training, qualification requirements or other knowledge that needs to stay up to date.
Viewing progress and feedback
Under Statistics, you see the status and progress of the learning package per employee. Under Feedback, you find all collected feedback. Use the Summarise with AI button to get a quick overview.
Certificate on completion
When an employee successfully completes an E-Learning, a (personal) certificate can be downloaded.
This gives employees recognition for what they have learned and makes results easy to demonstrate. It is especially useful for mandatory or annual training, such as health & safety or qualification requirements, where you want to be able to show that everyone has completed the training.
Learning paths: bundling E-Learnings into a journey
With learning paths, you bundle several E-Learnings into a structured training journey. Instead of offering training separately, you put together complete journeys that employees follow step by step. When you create a new learning path, you select all the available E-Learnings you want to include. You decide the order of the modules yourself.
Templates
Besides creating E-Learnings manually or easily generating them with AI, you can also choose from a wide selection of our ready-made templates. Choose the template that fits what you want to train, and adjust the texts and images where needed so it matches your own organisation better.
Frequently asked questions about E-Learning
What is the difference between an E-Learning and an Onboarding?
You create both through the Academy using the same modules. You use an Onboarding course to onboard new employees. You use an E-Learning for ongoing training and knowledge, for example mandatory or annual training.
Why can't my employee see the E-Learning?
Check that all screens and the entire learning package are set to Live, and that the employee falls within the audience you set (community or role).
Can I reuse an existing E-Learning?
Yes. E-Learnings and onboarding modules can be duplicated and moved, so you never have to start from scratch.
