Multilingual support for Academy

With multilingual support, you manage Academy content in multiple languages within a single course. Employees automatically see the correct language version, based on their configured user language.

What is multilingual support?

Previously, you had to create a separate course for each language and switch those on or off per audience. That meant a lot of duplicate work and the risk of versions drifting apart. With multilingual support, that's no longer necessary. You manage the different language versions within the same course. The employee then automatically sees the version that matches their language.

How does it work?

The multilingual content is managed centrally within a single course. Key features:

  1. One course, multiple languages
Instead of creating separate courses, you add extra languages within the same course. You decide which languages are relevant and manage them all in one place.

  2. Automatic language selection
The employee then automatically gets the right language version based on their configured user language.

  3. Central management
You manage changes in one place, so versions no longer drift apart.

Why is this useful?

Multilingual support is valuable for any organization with employees who speak different languages.

  • Less duplicate work
HR, ops, and admins no longer have to create content per language and filter it through audiences.

  • More consistent training material
The same course stays identical across all languages, even when you make a change.

  • A better experience for employees
Employees take the training in their own language, which improves comprehension and engagement.
