With a pulse survey, you can continuously collect feedback on a specific topic from your employees easily. Your employees are given a maximum of five questions to fill in at a time.

This way, you can quickly gain insight into employee satisfaction, for example, and can take appropriate action accordingly.

Other benefits of a pulse survey:

  • Improves employee engagement.
By regularly asking your team for feedback, you encourage employee engagement.

  • Increases the positive company culture.
A culture that seeks employee feedback creates happier, more engaged employees, which in turn positively affects the company culture.

  • Allows you to analyse and respond to changes over time.

We have 8 themes linked to about 60 research questions. The questions are predefined to create a benchmark and offer more insights, such as trends over time.

Creating a Pulse survey
To create a pulse survey, go to the ‘Surveys’ button on the menu bar on the left. You will then enter the survey module and find pulse surveys at the top. Click on the "Create first pulse" button.

You will then land on a new screen. Here you can customize the name of the pulse survey by clicking on ‘New pulse survey’, change the name, and click on save. Next, you can select the questions you want to include in the pulse. For example, all questions on personal growth.

To check how the question will look in your employee's language, click on the cogwheel. All employees will see random questions from the selected list for each pulse. This allows for quick and easy trend analysis.

Settings

Once you have selected the questions, you can click on the "Settings" button to indicate how often the pulse survey should be sent out. This can range between 1 week and 3 months. You can also indicate how many questions should be sent out at a time.

Furthermore, you select the target group here. Specifically, you can select a group based on a particular function/community/language, etc. Also built-in is that new employees (less than a month in service) will not receive the pulse, so they can fully focus on their onboarding.

If everything is set up properly, then the pulse can be put live and it will immediately be sent to the target group(s).

Statistics

On the main page, you can see the overall engagement score, and the scores by themes below.

The eNPS and Participation score are also visible if you scroll down. If you zoom in further, you can then view a score trend by theme. There is also a comparison option. For example, you can compare two or more communities with each other.

This allows you to see how eNPS in different departments or communities compares to one another.
