What are internal links?
Internal links are short, fixed URLs that lead to specific items within Oneteam.
They are automatically generated from the share option of an item.
The link always opens the employee view, not the admin environment.
Supported items
You can create internal links to:
Posts
Events
Forms
Surveys
Users
Documents
Academy learnings
Flexchanges
Share an internal link (web)
You can copy an internal link or use it as a QR code via the share panel.
β
How to share an internal link
Open the item you want to share (for example, an event or form).
Click Share.
Choose one of the following options:
Show QR code
You can:
Download the QR code
Print it
Save it for later use
The copied link is ready to share via email, chat, or timeline.
Use on mobile
You can also generate internal links in the mobile app.
Open the item and use the share option to copy the link or show the QR code.
Display in timeline and chat
When you post an internal link in the timeline or chat, it is automatically recognized.
What happens?
The URL is converted into a clear label.
The name of the item is shown instead of the full link.
For example:
Event: Company BBQ
Form: Onboarding survey
This makes shared links easier to recognize.
If someone does not have access
Access rights always apply.
The name of the item is not shown.
The link remains visible as a regular URL.
No information is displayed without the correct permissions.
Benefits of internal linking
Consistency β One fixed link structure for all items.
Clarity β Links always open in the employee view.
Recognition β Clear previews in timeline and chat.
