Understanding the AI Buddy analytics

The AI Buddy analytics show you how it's performing: how many conversations there are, how often it answers questions on its own and what your colleagues ask about most. Here you'll read where to find these statistics and how to interpret them.

In short: what is the AI Buddy?

The AI Buddy is a smart assistant in Oneteam that answers your colleagues' questions, for example about schedules, leave or work instructions. The AI Buddy pulls those answers from the documents and information you add to Oneteam. The more and the clearer that information is, the better the answers.

What do we mean by "analytics"?

Analytics is simply an umbrella term for the figures and overviews about the Buddy. They tell you at a glance how busy the AI Buddy is, how well it resolves questions and what your colleagues are dealing with. You don't have to keep track of any of this yourself, Oneteam collects it automatically.

Where do I find the analytics?

You'll find them in the organization dashboard in Oneteam:

  1. Go to the menu bar on the left-hand side and click AI Buddy.

  2. The tab with the statistics opens right away.

  3. Make the results relevant by setting a filter, for example a specific period or function.

Don't see any figures yet? No worries. That usually means the AI Buddy isn't live yet, or that there haven't been any conversations in the period you selected. As soon as your colleagues start using the AI Buddy, the overview fills up by itself.

The figures explained

Usage

This is the total number of conversations your colleagues have had with the AI Buddy in the period you selected.

What does it tell you? Whether your colleagues are finding and using the AI Buddy. If this number goes up, the AI Buddy is becoming more and more established. If it stays low, it might be time to put the AI Buddy in the spotlight again.

Resolution rate

The resolution rate shows in how many of the conversations the AI Buddy was able to give a good answer on its own, without the colleague having to look further elsewhere. It's a percentage: the higher, the better.

What does it tell you? How much work the AI Buddy actually takes off your hands. The good news: you can raise this number yourself. If you add more or clearer documents, the AI Buddy can answer more questions on its own and the resolution rate goes up along with it.

Top topics

The AI Buddy automatically sorts all conversations by topic. In this overview you'll see which topics come up most often, for example "requesting time off" or "calling in sick". You can click on a topic to see the related questions: the specific questions your colleagues asked within that topic.

What does it tell you? What's going on on the work floor and which information is requested most. That way you know exactly which topics your documentation really needs to be in good shape for.

Suggestions

In the suggestions, Oneteam gives you tips about information you could add or clarify. These are topics where extra or clearer content would make the AI Buddy's answers even better.

What does it tell you? Where you'll get the most results when you improve something in your documentation. Think of it as a friendly list of recommendations, not as a report card. Go through it at your own pace and choose for yourself what you pick up. Is there a suggestion about something that's actually already in Oneteam? That's not a mistake, it could be that a question was phrased just a little differently.

How do I make the AI Buddy better?

The analytics are mainly useful for improving the AI Buddy step by step. A few simple things you can do.

  • Start with the top topics. Make sure you have good, complete information in Oneteam about the most frequently asked topics.

  • Use the suggestions as a shopping list. They point you to exactly the content that's still missing or could be clearer.

  • Keep your documents tidy. The AI Buddy reads information from your documents. Clear, well-structured text works better than messy or very visual files.

  • Check back now and then. Review the figures once a month, for example. That way you'll see whether your changes are working, and the AI Buddy grows along with your organization.
