Custom user properties let you, as an organisation admin, add extra information to your users' profiles. This can include details such as department, region, role type, contract type or location or really any other user attribute that's useful for managing audiences and communication.
This way, you keep the user data in Oneteam aligned with your own organisation's structure and terminology.
What you can do with custom user properties
Create and manage custom user properties from the organisation dashboard
Add custom property values when creating a new user
Edit custom property values for existing users
Use custom user properties in audience selectors and filters
Keep your user data aligned with your organisation's structure and terminology
Managing custom user properties
You manage custom user properties from the web dashboard. This is where you define which additional fields are available for users within your organisation.
Once a property has been created, you can fill it in when adding a new user, or add or update it later on an existing user profile.
Using custom properties in audience filters
You can also use custom user properties in audience selectors. As an organisation admin, this helps you target specific groups of users based on information that's unique to your organisation.
For example, you can filter an audience by department, location, or any other custom property you've configured.
Availability
Custom user properties are currently only available in the web dashboard. Mobile support isn't available yet, so users can't see or manage these properties in the mobile app at this stage.
