What is the Hub in Oneteam?

Written by Sanne Lodders

The Hub is the home screen of the Oneteam app. At a glance, employees see what matters most to them here. The Hub is only available in the mobile app.

What is the purpose of the Hub?

The Hub helps employees not to miss anything.
Open tasks, important messages and actions are all brought together in one central place. This way, employees immediately know:

  • What they still need to do

  • What needs attention

  • Where to start

Where do you find the Hub?

The Hub opens automatically as soon as an employee opens the app on their phone (unless set otherwise by the admin). At the bottom of the app you'll see the navigation:

  • Hub

  • Timeline

  • Chat

  • Notifications

  • More

Profile check
An exclamation mark may appear in the top right.
This means the profile is not yet complete.
By clicking on it, the employee sees:

  • Which details are still missing

  • Which actions are needed

Once the profile is complete, the icon disappears automatically.

What do you see in the Hub?

What is visible in the Hub depends on which modules are enabled. The components appear in a fixed order.

Onboarding (optional)
Is the onboarding not yet completed?
Then it stays visible in the Hub until all steps are finished.
After completion, the onboarding is moved to the Academy.

Pulse surveys (optional)
Open pulse surveys are always shown.
The number next to the survey shows how many questions are still open.
Once everything is filled in, the survey disappears from the Hub.

Important messages
Important messages that haven't been marked as read yet stay visible.
The employee sees:

  • The text of the message

  • A preview of any attachments

Via Show post you go to the full post on the timeline.
After Mark as read, the message disappears from the Hub.

To do's
The Hub shows a maximum of three tasks at a time.
Are there more tasks? Then the employee can click Show more.
Examples of to do's:

  • Introduce yourself (one-off)

  • Open surveys

  • Signing up or out for events

  • Admin tasks such as an access review

Upcoming events (optional)
Do you have an event coming up? Then the Hub shows a separate block with your upcoming events from today up to the day after tomorrow (the next three days). It shows the events you have signed up for, as well as events without a guest list that you are part of the audience for. For events where you can still respond, the sign up or out button is shown.

E-learning and courses (optional)
If the Academy is enabled, the Hub shows relevant courses. The order is built to put the most relevant course at the top:

  • New: courses added in the past 7 days that you haven't completed yet.

  • Continue: courses you're working on, if you haven't continued them in the last 14 days.

  • Expired deadline: courses whose deadline has passed.

  • Upcoming deadline: courses with an approaching deadline.

  • Suggestions: if there are fewer than three courses to show, the Hub fills up with a few suggested courses.

Apps & shortcuts

Apps and shortcuts are set up by organization admins.

  • The order can be adjusted

  • Some components can be turned on or off organization-wide

Forms and documents are only visible to the selected audience. Under the 'More' tab you can now also find settings and help.
