Assigning integrations permissions without superadmin access

In this article, we explain how the 'Integrations' permission group lets you manage organisation integrations without giving full organisationadmin access.

IT teams often need to manage organisation integrations, service accounts, custom feeds and webhooks. Until now, this always required full organisationadmin access.

With the 'Integrations' permission group, you can now assign these rights separately through a custom role. This gives your IT team exactly the access they need, without also giving them access to every other organisation setting.

What the Integrations permission group covers

  • Organisation integrations

  • Custom feeds

  • API keys

  • Webhooks

Setting up a custom role with this permission group

  1. Go to the organisation settings and open 'Roles and permissions'.

  2. Create a new custom role or open an existing one.

  3. Add the 'Integrations' permission group to the role.

  4. Assign the role to the employee(s) who should manage integrations, for example your IT team.

Why this is useful

  • Your IT team can manage integrations, service accounts, custom feeds and webhooks independently, without needing to be a superadmin.

  • You only give access to what is actually needed, which reduces the risk of overly broad permissions.

  • Responsibilities within your organisation are separated more clearly.
