Oneteam platform structure

The structure of the platform and the permissions of a community administrator

Platform structure

The Oneteam platform consists of different levels so that communication easily reaches the right employee. The platform can be set up by an organization and community administrator.

When you start setting up the platform, it is essential to set up the platform structure first. This is done by an organization administrator. Nevertheless, it may also be useful for a community administrator to know how this is set up:

  1. The communities correspond, generally, to the branches within your organization.

  2. Community groups are groups within the community. An employee will see messages within a group only if they are a member of that group.

Permissions of a community administrator

As a community administrator, you have additional permissions within the community (location/branch). These permissions relate to:

  • Inviting or removing employees;

  • Approving or rejecting shift takeovers;

  • Managing community groups within the community;

  • Viewing statistics about the community.

Add a community administrator

A community administrator can assign an administrator role to an employee in the same community (if these permissions have been given by an organization administrator). You can do this by going to “Community settings” and then “Administrators”. Select the person you want to give a special role within your community, and then choose the role this employee should have.

In the next article, we will explain more about the timeline in a community.
